Vibration
monitoring is simply a way of monitoring the issues of a spinning device such
as a HVAC; it has been around since the 70's and is identified throughout the
world as the most flexible technology for identifying technical situations of a
spinning device.
It is
used on a spinning platform to identify common issues such as misalignment,
bearing wear, resonances and damaged or loose parts which can be key signs of
the state of a particular device. The purpose of such vibration monitoring systems
is to find issues before they lead to failing devices which will lead to a high
amount of repair costs. Alternatively, a proximity probe mounting hardware
device is very simple to use and can save you a lot of time and energy down the
road.
