A machine vibration system is a
machine that can protect the machine during the running process. It is mainly
used to absorb the impact and damping vibration of the machine. It is a kind of
soft device; it can be divided into two kinds: linear elastic vibration
absorption device and torsion elastic vibration absorption device. The former
is composed of a number of spring elements, which are generally installed in
parallel with each other.
Vibration measurement is a common
practice in the metrology field. The vibration measurement is performed to test
the elasticity of the material, quality of material, and machine parts.
Vibrations may be applied to machines by measuring vibration or by setting up the
machine to operate in an environment of vibrations due to its nature.
There are two ways to monitor
vibration in a system:
●
By direct vibration measurement using sensors
●
By measuring the vibroacoustic effects using
sensors (sound wave sensors)
The vibroacoustic effects resulting
from vibrations inside a system (that is, transmitted to the surrounding
medium) include all types of machining noise (e.g. impact noise), as well as
structural vibration resulting from flow-induced vibrations (e.g. in
ventilation systems).
The measurement of vibration for condition
monitoring is one of the key quality measurements made on industrial
machines and it can be used to detect defects which would otherwise cause
expensive production downtime. It is also possible to make use of measurement
systemswww.stiweb.com that do not require any signal
conditioners or signal conditioning equipment at all because they have built-in
signal conditioning capabilities.
